What We Do
The League of Women Voters of Calvert County assists citizens to become more informed participants in their community and their government by:
- producing Voters' Guides in election years through Vote411.org;
- assisting at voter registration drives and providing information about voting;
- conducting community forums on local, state, and national issues;
- hosting forums for candidates;
- distributing Maryland Voter Bill of Rights and other educational materials to the community;
- distributing informational brochures;
- providing information about government on the national, state, and local levels;
- conducting Studies;
- having active Observer Teams
